Across India, Nepal and Thailand, these images show the encounter between Western and Asian travelers and the local people.
Ways of life, levels of wealth, habits and relationships to modernity that are sometimes very far apart nonetheless coexist quite naturally.
A closeness often made of curiosity, smiles and kindness, where each side also discovers, in its own way, the gaze of the other.
